Hello! My name is Gary Myers and I am interested in using social media for Knowledge Mobilization (KMb).
The most effective knowledge tool is mobilization, and social media is an amazing and effective way of mobilizing knowledge.
I believe everyone has knowledge to share and everyone can contribute to making the world a better place to live by sharing knowledge and being open to the knowledge of others.
Knowledge Mobilization is putting shared and informed knowledge into active service to benefit society.

Community-Campus Partnerships for Health

Thanks Rahma for providing further Canadian and other KMb initiatives. I know that organizations like Community-Campus Partnerships for Health are doing similar things in Canada to the work that CUPP is doing at the University of Brighton in the U.K. The upcoming Community University Expo in May 2011 in Waterloo is an excellent way for Canadian CU and International CU organisations to collaborate and mobilize knowledge. And CES4Health can provide ways of publishiing community engaged scholarship.
As I mentioned in my blog, there are many knowledge mobilizers who I wasn’t able to mention, but always glad to hear about them and further inform through comments such as your own to KMbeing.
